James Vega
Site Superintendent/Lead Carpenter
James was born and raised in Southern California and grew up surfing when he wasn’t playing football. His family enjoyed off-roading, camping, going to the beach and anything that involved water. James has two sisters and a brother, four nieces and a nephew. He is recently married into a large, blended family, they share five kids and five grandkids. Keeping up with the kids and grandkids keeps him busy enough to not have any current hobbies. When he gets the chance, he likes to work on his 67’ Chevy or go hiking with his boys.
James joins MSH with over 25+ years of experience. He got his start in framing in his early 20’s and by today’s standards would be considered a journeyman framer. He has held project management positions & superintendent roles but prefers to keep his bags on and work in the trenches. He has a decent plumbing background, has worked as a service plumber, and handled new construction plumbing. James has handled full remodels including framing, cabinetry, flooring, windows, etc. If it’s under the roof of a house, he has done it.
